Greetings!
Welcome to the website of the Southern Indiana Chapter of the American Guild of Organists!

Our chapter is located in Southern Indiana, just across the river from Louisville, Kentucky. It was established in 1994 and is currently growing. You are welcome to explore our website. Please visit the Gallery of Organs, which includes pictures and recordings of pipe organs from the southern half of the state of Indiana.

Our activities for the 2012 - 2013 season include the following:

September 10 - Choral Reading Session with Dr. David K. Lamb, AGO Region V Councillor

October 6 - Organ Concert and Picnic in Seymour, IN

October 30 - Pipes & Pumpkins, Costumes and Candy

November 26 - "Great Lakes - Swell Organs": Kalamazoo Regional Convention presentation

December 31 - New Year's Eve Concert

January 29 - Organ with Instruments presentation by Dr. Janet Hamilton

February 23 - Pedals, Pipes, and Pizza

March - Lenten Series Concerts

April 28 - Artist Concert by Daniel Brondel, organist at St. Patrick's Cathedral, NYC

May 13 - Chadala Young Artist Series Concert by David C. Sims, organist at North Christian Church, Columbus, IN



Our members join with Indiana Organists United (an alumni affiliate for organists at Indiana University) in the annual Lenten Concert Series at noon on every Friday during Lent. In this series members present concerts on various organs in the Clark and Floyd County areas. Details of these activities may be found in the Calendar of Events listing on the website.
