The Southern Indiana Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.

A message from the Dean:

Dear Visitor:

Welcome to the website of the Southern Indiana Chapter of the American Guild of Organists! We are a small, but growing chapter, established in 1994, located in Southern Indiana just across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky. Please be sure to visit our Gallery of Organs, which includes pictures and recordings of pipe organs from all over the southern half of the state of Indiana.

Our activities for the 2011-2012 season include:

September 26 - Creative Church Music Exploration with Dr. Marilyn Keiser

October 30 - Pipe & Pumpkins, Costumes & Candy

November 13 - Guest artist - Pierre Pincemaille from Paris, France

December 18 - Members' Recital for Christmas

February 20 - Mardi Gras Celebration and Concert

March - Lenten Series Concerts

April 27 - Guest artist - Massimo Nosetti from Turin, Italy

May 14 - Installation and End of the Season concert featuring Dr. Janet Hamilton and Timothy Baker

In addition to these activities, our members join with Indiana Organists United (alumni affiliate for organists at Indiana University) in the annual Lenten Concert Series at noon on every Friday during Lent. This series features members presenting concerts on various organ in the Clark and Floyd county areas. Check the calendar of events for full details.

We hope you will visit our website frequently for updates and possibly you will attend one of our program events so that we can see you in person soon!
